So old and picturesque

Sometimes, in the States, we get the idea of “old” a bit out of perspective. This is a picture from inside the Cathedral here in Barcelona. This Cathedral was built between the 13th and 15th centuries and would have been finished, for all practical purposes, before Columbus ever set sail for the New World. It is an incredible gothic structure that has stood for centuries, strong and solid against all elements and factions. It is truly impressive, perhaps even more so when viewed from the interior rather than on the outside.

BUT, in case we think this is old, check out these sepulchres. These are also located in the Cathedral.
